Soba, like udon and somen, is a typical kind of Japanese noodles. It is made of buckwheat flour. We can eat it hot or cold.
Yesterday I visited redflower buckwheat fields near Lake Tazawa （田沢湖） at the foot of Mt. Komagadake （駒ヶ岳）in Akita （秋田）.
