初夢や蛇を敬ひ餅を食ふ

hatsuyume ya  hebi o uyamai  mochi  o ku u

First dream -

to respect Snake

and eat rice cake

蛇の夢姿あらはし年祝

hebi no yume  sugata arawashi  toshi iwai

Snake's dream -

to appear

and celebrate New Year

蛇の夢豊かな作と独楽回し

hebi no yume  yutakana saku to  koma mawashi

Snake's dream -

to have a good crop

and spin a top
