Haiku about Autumn (17)

Here in Akita it's already been winter, but in my haiku world it's still autumn.
At the middle of November, I visited the foot of Mt. Moriyoshi (森吉山), which means 'th forests abundant in trees'.
I wrote the last haiku about autumn in 2010.

The white thread

dropping through

bare branches

白糸や無地の枝縫い落下する

Shiraito ya muji no eda nui rakka suru

Fallen leaves

cover the mountain

another life

散り散りに山地を包む落葉かな
Chirijiri ni sanchi o tsutsumu ochiba kana
